This house is conveniently located : 5 to I10 interstate hwy, 10 minute to Old Town Bay St. Louis, 40 minutes to New Orleans French Quarter, 2 mile to the beach , 1 mile to shoping . Kingfisher Tree House is well apointed 2 bedroom, with a queen sixed bed in each bedroom and 2 full baths . The cottatge also has a washer and drier, central ac /heat ,stove and refrigerator and microwave in the kitchen with a large deck with a pourch swing,the deck overlooks a bayou/ canal that leads to the Jourdan River , 20 minutes by boat. A great location for a family get away.

Cute coastal cottage in the heart of charming Bay St. Louis. Nestled behind a historic home on Main Street, this quiet retreat is just a few blocks from downtown shops, restaurants, the harbor and beach. One downstairs bedroom with queen bed, upstairs nook with a full and a twin. Partial kitchen with fridge, coffee pot, microwave and toaster oven, full bath (shower only). Relaxing patio and outdoor party room, plus covered fireplace area with hammock and ample seating. The outside entertaining areas really make this a unique place to visit. The garden room morphs easily into your living room to relax, watch a show, play cards or eat a meal. Next to that, an outdoor fireplace area is shady in the summer and cozy in the winter. Plenty of seating in outdoor, including a hammock and swing by the goldfish pond. The cottage itself is whimsical and fun, featuring coastal decor, local artists and a welcoming, easy feel. Please note - there's a TV with Hulu, etc, inside cottage and free wifi for your devices. Another TV is located in the outside party room and has access to tons of channels, plus streaming services. Guests have access to all outdoor areas excluding the main residence porches and the owners storage / office areas, which are part of the cottage building but are marked as private areas. We live in the main house and are here if you need us. We give you your space to enjoy your Bay St. Louis visit. Come and go as you please, just keep the gate closed for our dog Maggie! She's a guest favorite for sure! We occasionally rent our main house when we travel so there may be other guests here during your stay that you may encounter in our outside areas. But most likely it'll just be us. : )

Bay St. Louis has great walking / biking paths that run alongside our waterfront. Or park at the base of our bridge and walk the dedicated walking path there, checking out our bronze markers - art made from our Katrina-destroyed bridge metal by some of our best local artists. Kayaks, paddleboards, bikes and golf carts are available for rent just a few blocks away.
